Anne Lake, DNP, CEO
Dr. Lake is the CEO of RPJ FLS, LLC. She is a nationally recognized bone health expert, author, teacher and speaker specializing in Post Fracture Prevention, Osteoporosis and the implementation of Fracture Liaison Services. (FLS). Anne works closely with the National Osteoporosis Foundation and many other bone health societies and organizations. Anne Lake is a certified FLS Clinician through the National Osteoporosis Foundation and is certified in Clinical Densitometry through the International Society of Clinical Densitometry. The FLS program developed by Dr. Lake at Wake Forest Baptist Health is a Star Performer with Own the Bone and a nationally recognized program that has trained hundreds of FLS specialists across the country.
Dudley Phipps, PA-C, COO
Dudley is a board-certified physician’s assistant specializing in bone health. He is originally from central Iowa having been practicing medicine since 1980. In 2003, he became a Physician’s Assistant. Prior to becoming a physician’s assistant, he volunteered at a local ambulance service, worked as a paramedic and held positions in hospitals and insurance. He is motivated in his work by having the ability to help people increase their quality of life, not just on a local, but also a national level.

Clayton LaBaume, PA-C, CIO
Clayton LaBaume graduated from the Texas Tech physician assistant program in 2008. With his experience in neurosurgery, orthopedic spine surgery, and general orthopedics, he developed a special interest in bone health and fracture prevention. He has grown the Fracture Liaison Service at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango, Colorado, and across Centura Health System. He is a consultant and ambassador for the National Osteoporosis Foundation. He takes pride in troubleshooting and improving processes to help FLS programs become successful. Clayton and his wife have lived in Durango since 2010 and they enjoy the outdoor life that the area provides.
Linda Bowka, Executive Director
Linda Bowka is the Executive Director of RPJ, FLS, LLC, a company committed to building and implementing successful and sustainable Fracture Liaison Services throughout the US. RPJ FLS is endorsed by the National Osteoporosis Foundation and works closely with the foundation to provide FLS One on One Consults and Bone Health Echo programs for healthcare providers and organizations that are committed to reducing the human and economic burden of osteoporotic fractures through secondary fracture prevention programs. Linda has expertise in osteoporosis and the implementation of Fracture Liaison Services and has helped implement and consults Fracture Liaison Services throughout south Texas and the southeast US. Linda retired from Eli Lilly & Company in 2017, as an award winning Senior Executive Specialty Rep and Orthopedic Specialist in their Bioscience/Musculoskeletal Division.
Bob Understein, CFO
Bob Understein is a financial and tax practitioner (CPA) and non-practicing legal guide for the past 55 years. In his practice, his medical service provider clients numbered near 100. In addition to serving on the Advisory Board of the University of Virginia’s undergraduate business school for 30 years, he has also served on the National Osteoporosis Foundation as a former member of the Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Treasurer; and George Washington University Heart and Vascular Institute Foundation as a former member of the Board of Directors.
